Nya Palmer, M.Ed.
California Credentialed Elementary Educator
I am a California credentialed elementary educator with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and a Master's Degree in Education. My passion is helping students grow academically while building the confidence, skills, and love of learning needed for long-term success.
Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked with students at various stages of learning and understand that every child learns differently. I believe children thrive when they feel supported, encouraged, and confident in their abilities. For this reason, I strive to create a calm, positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, taking academic risks, and celebrating their progress.
At Milk & Honey Learning Co., my approach combines strong academic instruction with personalized encouragement. My goal is not only to strengthen foundational skills in reading, writing, and math, but also to help students develop the confidence and independence needed to approach learning with a positive mindset.
I created the Summer Bridge Program to provide families with a supportive learning experience that helps students maintain academic momentum, strengthen key skills, and feel prepared for the upcoming school year. Every session is designed to be engaging, encouraging, and appropriately challenging while meeting students where they are.
I look forward to partnering with families and supporting students as they continue to learn, grow, and thrive.

After spending years studying child development, educational best practices, and classroom instruction, our founder saw firsthand that many students thrive when learning is personalized, encouraging, and relationship-based. Academic growth happens best when children feel safe, supported, and capable of success.
